Kevin Saba
Principal
Mr. Kevin Saba is in his fourth year as principal of Naples High School. Mr. Saba has worked with middle and high school students in Collier County for over twenty years. He has taught science, geography, and history. In addition, he worked as an Adjunct Professor of History at Florida State College for eight years. Mr. Saba served as principal of both Gulfview Middle School and Oakridge Middle School before coming to Naples High School.   In addition to his duties as principal, he serves as an administrative mentor and works as a Clinical Education instructor, training teachers to work as mentors for their colleagues. He is also a member of the National Institute for School Leadership. Mr. Saba holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Cultural History from the University of Florida and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is eager to continue his work with the Naples High community to prepare students for college and career endeavors. Mr. Saba is well aware of the strong reputation of Naples High for academics, athletics, and activities and is hoping to enhance the tradition of excellence among all Golden Eagles.
Andreas "Ernie" Modugno

Ernie Modugno is beginning his 29th year as the Athletic Director and Activities Coordinator at Naples High School.  In 1983, while working as a Youth and Public Relations Deputy with the Collier County Sheriff’s Department, he became the first boys’ varsity soccer coach at NHS. During that time, he also coached boys’ tennis and was an assistant in the Golden Eagle football program. During Mr. Modugno’s tenure as the Athletic Director at Naples High School, Golden Eagle athletic teams have achieved 133 District Championships, 51 Region Championships, 41 State Championships, and two National Championships. Naples High School is regularly among the top, or THE top performing high school among public high school athletic programs in the FHSAA’s (Florida High School Athletic Association’s) annual All-Sports competition and during the 2008-09 school year, ESPN ranked NHS as the #16 best high school athletic program in all of the United States and the # 1 high school athletic program among all schools (both public and private) in the state of Florida.  Many Naples High School athletic teams are also regularly among or THE top performing athletic team in the state in the FHSAA’s Academic Team Champion Awards program—which ranks athletic teams in all sports based on team cumulative grade point averages. It should also be noted that since Mr. Modugno became AD in 1988, over 260 Naples High School student-athletes have gone on to participate in athletics at the intercollegiate level and numerous NHS coaches (in a variety sports) have earned local, state, and even national recognition. Mr. Modugno is active in the Florida Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (FIAAA) and from 2006-2009 he served as a Board Member on the FHSAA (Florida High School Athletic Association’s) Board of Directors. He has earned B.A.’s in both history and education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, all from the University of South Florida, in Tampa.  
Bob Bowe
Assistant Athletic Director
Robert (Bob) Bowe is beginning his seventh year as Assistant Athletic Director at Naples High School.  Before that, Bob served as Naples High Head Wrestling coach for six years, ending his career in 2009. Before coming to Naples  Bob was the Dean of Students in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he served as head wrestling coach for over 30 years. His career was highlighted by a Wrestling Team State Championship in 1978.  During that tournament Bob had six wrestlers in the finals and crowned four State Champions. Over the years Bob had multiple Conference championships, Sectional, & Regional titles. Bob finished his varsity coaching career with 299 wins and 59 losses.  He was elected to the Kenosha Unified Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994 and also the St. Joseph High School Hall of Fame in 2000.  He also received the Distinguished Service Award for his role as a leader in the Dean of Students program. Bob received  the Mayor and School Board Award in 1992 for saving a student's life. Bob has an extensive background in organizing and hosting athletic events. He has hosted many Regional, Sectional, District, and Conference wrestling tournaments in Wisconsin and Florida.  Bob was a State Finals wrestling official in Wisconsin for several years before moving to Florida. Bob is married to a Naples High teaching assistant,  Mary Bowe. Bob's son and daughter-in-law are both teachers in Greenville, SC.  Bob and Mary have two granddaughters, Camille (6) and Garrison (10).
