Freshmen Defensive Backs

Coach Garvie, 24 years in CCPS, begins his 8th year at NHS teaching AP US History and AP Macroeconomics, Economics Honors and Economics.  He is the NHS Social Science Dept. Chair. He will coordinate the defense for the freshmen and coach the fledgling defensive backs.  His educational stops include Middlebury College,A.B.(History) where he played football, baseball and ran track; Southern CT State University, M.S.(History and Political Science); Yale University(Russian); University of Notre Dame, M.A.(IR: Soviet Area Studies).  His son, Conor, a ’07 NHS grad is a senior wide receiver at Trinity College in Hartford, CT majoring in environmental science.
