Bronze Bruland

Defensive Line

Bronze Bruland is an alumnus of Naples High School; while at Naples High Coach Bruland participated in football, wrestling, and orchestra. Upon graduation Coach Bruland attended Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy, one of our Nation’s five Federal Service Academies. Coach Bruland played football at Kings Point and helped begin the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program at the school. After graduating with honors from Kings Point, Coach Bruland pursued a career in the maritime industry while also accepting a commission in the United States Navy Reserve. Coach Bruland’s travels have taken him up and down both the East and West Coasts of the United States, as well as Hawaii, Guam, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai. While traveling the world Coach Bruland felt compelled to return to the community which had given him so much. Since returning to Naples High he has served in the Mathematics department teaching the ninth grade within our Eagle Eyrie. In addition to working in the classroom Bronze is the Head Boys Track and Field Coach. After stellar seasons as the Junior Varsity Defensive Coordinator Coach Bruland took over as Varsity Defensive Line Coach. In this his second season Coach Bruland looks to continue having a positive impact the lives of our players.
